(June 3, 2015) – Sancho Johnson and Chris Suter, wounded warrior participants, prepares for cycling event during the wounded warriors training at Naval Base Ventura County, Port Hueneme. The Wounded Warrior Project was once a program to help provide comfort items to wounded service members, but has now grown into a rehabilitative effort to assist warriors as they transition to the civilian life. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3 Seabee volunteers helped make the wounded warriors’ week long stay more comfortable.
