An Australian soldier with Direct Fire Support Weapon Platoon, 5th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, 1st Brigade fires the MK19 40mm automatic grenade launcher as U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Tee Thibert observes during the qualification course May 27 during Exercise Predator Walk at Mount Bundey Training Area, Northern Territory, Australia. Exercise Predator Walk is a Marine Air-Ground Task Force combined-arms exercise with the Australian Army, designed to enhance the skills of the ground combat, aviation combat and support elements. The six-month rotational deployment of U.S. Marines affords an unprecedented combined training opportunity with our Australian allies and improves interoperability between our forces.
