Devon Holley-Mason, Justin Walter and Keshaun Barrett, students in the Pioneer Middle School Gateway to Technology class, check out a methane burn off at a water treatment facility in DuPont, Wash., as part of the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics partnership with the Soldiers of the 555th Engineer Brigade, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., June 3, 2015. The two partnered together to create a STEM outreach program for the middle school students and aims to help supplement the schools by showing students the application of the subjects they learn.
