150528-M-BW898-322: GULF OF ADEN (May 28, 2015) Reconnaissance Marines with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Maritime Raid Force, sourced from Force Reconnaissance Company, 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, and embarked on the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7), are extracted from the sea by a UH-1Y Huey during special patrol insertion/extraction training in the Gulf of Aden, May 28, 2015. The Huey belongs to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 365 (Reinforced), 24th MEU.
