Nearly 700 troops from Romania, Bulgaria and the U.S. Marines participated in Exercise Platinum Eagle at the Babadag Training Area, Romania, May 19-28. U.S. Marines and sailors with the Black Sea Rotational Force trained alongside their NATO Allies in functional areas consisting of basic-infantry skills, advanced marksmanship, company-level command and control, and use of anti-armor weapon systems.
