Brig. Gen. Ali Khalid, commander 76th Iraqi Infantry Brigade, signs for portable mine detectors supplied by the coalition in support of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve May 23, 2015, at Camp Taji, Iraq. In addition to the mine detectors, under the direction of the 3rd Sustainment Brigade Forward Support Element, Fort Stewart, Ga., and the 1st Sustainment Command (Theater), Fort Bragg, N.C., soldiers from the 76th Iraqi Infantry Brigade were fielded M16A2 rifles and infantry sets, while each company was fielded crew serve weapons and mortar sets to assist in the fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
