An EA-6B Prowler assigned to the Cougars of Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 139 launches from the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. Prowlers provide an umbrella of protection for the strike aircraft, ground troops and ships by jamming enemy radar, electronic data links and communications. Ronald Reagan is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
