A round exits that chamber of a new Howitzer M119A3 as Soldiers from the 1st Battalion, 10th Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry conduct a live fire exercise on Fort Benning, Ga., May 22. The exercise was part of the validation and verification of the new weapons systems as the 1-10 FA receives and incorporates the new systems, as the 3rd ABCT transitions from an ABCT to an Infantry Brigade Combat Team.
