SEMBAWANG, Singapore (May 26, 2015) Cmdr. Matthew Kawas, LCS Crew 103 commanding officer, right, transfers command of the littoral combat ship USS Fort Worth (LCS 3) to Cmdr. Rich Jarrett, LCS Crew 102 commanding officer, at a change of command ceremony aboard Fort Worth. Currently on a 16-month rotational deployment in support of the Indo-Asia-Pacific Rebalance, Fort Worth is a fast and agile warship tailor-made to patrol the region’s littorals and work hull-to-hull with partner navies, providing 7th Fleet with the flexible capabilities it needs now and in the future.
