150524-N-TI202-487 NEW YORK (May 25,2015) - The Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) Ray Mabus, along with a service members from the Navy, Marines, Army and Air Force, threw out the first ceremonial pitch at Citi Field for the New York Mets Memorial Day game against the Philadelphia Phillies, May 25 as part of Fleet Week New York (FWNY). FWNY, now in its 27th year, is the city's time-honored celebration of the sea services. It is an unparalleled opportunity for the citizens of New York and the surrounding tri-state area to meet Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen, as well as witness firsthand the latest capabilities of today's maritime services.
