A Reserve Officers' Training Corps cadet presents a painting to be awarded to several veterans during the 17th annual Roll Call of Honor in Remembrance Ceremony, May 24, 2015, at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu. The ceremony recognized all Pacific American veterans as well as the Hui Panala'au Colonists on the 80th anniversary of the First Expedition, which involved 130 young men from Hawaii who were sent by the United States to serve as colonists, occupying five equatorial islands in the central Pacific: Jarvis, Howland, Baker, Canton and Enderbury islands.
