Students practiced reading, writing and speaking Arabic during the first Introduction to Arabic class offered by the Basra Education Center here recently. Arabic has masculine and feminine words and 2nd Lt. Noel Cronin, 34th Red Bull Infantry Division, Fires, converts a word to its feminine form. The second class will begin Aug. 17 and students will receive one hour of college credit for the free two-week course.
