The five brothers on board USS Juneau (left), Joseph, Francis, Albert, Madison and George Sullivan. The Sullivan brothers were five siblings who all died during the same attack in World War II, aboard the light cruiser USS Juneau during the Battle of Guadalcanal, November 1942. The vessel suffered two attacks by Japanese submarines, with the second torpedo believed to have struck the ship at the weapons magazine.
