    Naval Medical Center San Diego’s (NMCSD) Cmdr. (Dr.) Richard Montgomery answers questions from NBC 7’s Candice Nguyen while NMCSD staff perform a CT and X-ray scan of a 500,000-year-old mammoth skull fragment from the San Diego Natural History Museum. Due to the technological capabilities available at NMCSD, the museum requested NMCSD’s assistance in CT and X-ray scanning of the skull fragment.
