British soldiers engage soldiers of the Estonian Defense Force in small arms fire after the Estonians successfully defended Oandu, Estonia, during Operation Siil, May 12. For the exercise British and American forces where fighting alongside and against Estonian forces. Operation Siil, also known as Hedgehog, is the largest training exercise ever held in Estonia and features more than 12,000 Soldiers from six nations. Operation Siil is part of Operation Atlantic Resolve an ongoing training event that unites U.S. and NATO allies to train, build relationships, and interoperability.
