Patrick Hoffman, a native of Mason, Mich., and an imagery analyst with the 10th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 1st Armor Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, meets with World War II veteran John Miller of Linwood, Mich., at a ceremony commemorating the anniversary of the liberation of Obersalzburg, Germany, May 5. The ceremony brought current and past generations of the division together to honor those veterans who peacefully liberated the city 70 years ago.
