A black memorial plaque mounted on a lava rock boulder serves as an Honor Roll for the 29th Brigade Combat Team, commemorating soldiers who gave their lives during Operation Iraqi Freedom 04-06 (16 August 2004 to 13 March 2005). The monument is adorned with traditional Hawaiian lei garlands and a gold bow at the top, flanked by the American flag and what appears to be the Hawaii state flag. The plaque lists the names of fallen soldiers along with their unit designations.
