Coast Guard Cutter Mellon received a donation of silverware from Timothy Mellon, grandson of former Secretary of the Treasury Andrew W. Mellon March 24, 2015. The silverware is engraved with the U.S. Seal and Andrew W. Mellon’s initials. Timothy Mellon says he believes his grandfather used the silverware during his tenure as Secretary of the Treasury.
