A UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter lands in a remote field to pick up Iraqi and U.S. Army paratroopers after conducting their final clearance in the town of Shakkat, Iraq during Operation Mufa-Ja'ah, a combined air assault mission, July 31. Iraqi and U.S. troops conducted the operation to ensure enemy forces were not using the rural areas outside of eastern Baghdad as a site to store weapons. The combined forces were provided air support from the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade.
