Secretary of Defense Robert M. Gates meets with 4th Brigade, 1st Armored Division Soldiers during his visit to Contingency Operating Base Adder, Iraq, July 28. Soldiers briefed Gates on their partnership role with Iraqi security forces and Provincial Reconstruction Teams to support the "advisory and assistance" brigade mission. The 4th Brigade, 1st Armored Division "Highlander" is deployed out of Fort Bliss, Texas.
