The individual is handling a wooden board or lumber piece while working on what appears to be a wood-framed structure under construction. The setting suggests a military construction or engineering project, likely in an arid environment.

For Lance Cpl. Nicholas H. Leitner, plywood and sunny skies mean another day on the job as a combat engineer for Combat Logistics Battalion 7 at Al Asad Air Base. Leitner, a 22-year-old native of Trenton, N.J., and the other Marines of Engineer Company are finishing up work on a three-bay maintenance structure March 29, 2006, for the Iraqi soldiers of the 8th Motor Transportation Regiment. The 8th MTR is training with a military transition team here to improve its logistics capabilities to become a viable military unit as its country seeks freedom.
