Brig. Gen. Timothy P. Williams, the Adjutant General of Virginia, cuts a cake after signing a proclamation declaring the month of April Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month in the Virginia National Guard April 23, 2015, at Camp Pendleton, Va. Williams signed the proclamation at the conclusion of a two-day Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Victim Advocate refresher training course hosted by the office of the Virginia National Guard Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Coordinator. Virginia National Guard Airmen and Soldiers, as well as personnel from other state National Guards, attended the training, which included 15 hours of advocacy training and one hour of ethics training.
