Members of the 1st Battalion, 24th Brigade, 6th Iraqi Army Division pass out humanitarian aid to the citizens of the Fira Shia area west of Baghdad, May 17. Soldiers from the 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, operationally attached to the 2nd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad accompanied the Iraqi soldiers on the mission, which took place at a local secondary school and provided over 100 bags of food to needy families in the area.
