Philippine Soldiers assigned to the 7th Infantry Division move up a stairway after breaching the main objective during joint field training at Ft. Magsaysay, Philippines, as part of exercise Balikatan 2015, April 23. U.S. Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, which is a part of 2nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, have been working shoulder-to-shoulder with Philippine Soldiers from the 7ID during BK15. Bilateral training exercises, such as Balikatan, improve the readiness of both armed forces and helps maintain a high level of readiness, and enhances military-to-military relations and combined combat capabilities.
