Sgt. 1st Class Stephen Charles Perry died April 22 and is survived by his wife, Rachel Perry, and two children, Zachariah and Kaitlyn. Perry was a signal section chief with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division. He entered the Army March 2000 as a signal support specialist and deployed twice in 2003-2004 and 2005-2006 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. (Photo courtesy of U.S. Army)
