Sgt. Deanna Lucchesi, with the Military Intelligence Troop, Regimental Engineering Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, performs operational checks and services on an RQ-7B Shadow unmanned aerial vehicle April 16, 2015, at Joint Multinational Readiness Center, Hohenfels, Germany. The team launches and lands the Shadow on a short runway at the training area. The Shadow launches in response to calls from Soldiers on the ground who need a view of enemy movement on the battlefield. Lucchesi is one of about 4,700 military members taking part in Saber Junction 15, a multinational decisive action training exercise at JMRC.
