Local residents took the opportunity to get up close and personal with a CH-53 Super Stallion during a community relations event at Falwell Airport in Lynchburg, Va., April 21, 2015. During the event, the residents were able to get a real feel for some of the gear the Marines of Fox Co., Battalion Landing Team 2/6, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, carry into combat as they were able to pick up and observe the equipment. The Marines of the 26th MEU are in the area conducting Realistic Urban Training in preparation for their upcoming deployment to the 5th and 6th areas of fleet operations.
