Gen. Victor Renuart, Jr., the commander of the North American Aerospace Defense Command and United States Northern Command, is greeted by Maj. Gen. Raymond F. Rees, the adjutant general, Oregon, upon his arrival at Portland Air National Guard base, July 21. The visit marks his second official visit to the state in the last two years, the first being for TOPOFF 4 an anti-terrorism exercise held in October 2007. Renuart walked with the assistance of a crutch following a recent surgery on his right ankle.
