Spc. Kendall Sversvold, of Purdy, Mo., works with a Salvadoran soldier to place a concrete cinder block that will form the outer wall of a school the 276th Engineer Company is constructing in Consumidero, El Salvador. The 276th and other U.S. military personnel are conducting comprehensive humanitarian and civic assistance exercises in El Salvador in conjunction with Brazilian, Canadian, Chilean and Salvadoran militaries for Beyond the Horizon 2015. Troops specializing in engineering, construction and health care are providing needed services to Salvadoran communities while receiving valuable deployment training and building important relationships with partner nations.
