Bemidji, Minn., native, Staff Sgt. Renatta Draper (left), a vocalist, enthusiastically sings for a crowd at Camp Liberty, July 16, as Spc. Both Soldiers are assigned to 1st Cavalry Division Band, Division Special Troops Battalion, 1st Cav. Div. "The reason why I came out [to Iraq] is to sing for people," admitted Draper. "If we reach one person, then I'm happy." Draper is currently the only Soldier serving in the Army who holds the Military Occupational Specialty of vocalist.
