Hatcher Jr., a fire support specialist from Bay City, Mich., a coin during his visit to Contingency Operating Base Adder, Iraq, July 14. Coins are traditionally given to Soldiers recognized by their leadership as having excelled or going beyond the call of their duty performance. Hatcher is deployed with the 1st Battalion, 77th Armor Regiment "Steel Tigers" of 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division out of Fort Bliss, Texas.
