Seaman Jason Hazenfield, damage controlman fireman, assigned to the guided-missile frigate USS Crommelin, helps a Royal Thai Navy sailor don a self-contained breathing apparatus during a damage control demonstration and brief as part of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training Thailand 2009. CARAT is a series of bilateral exercises held annually in Southeast Asia to strengthen relationships and enhance the operational readiness of the participating forces.
