Stavridis tour the USS Eisenhower Room aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. The Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group is operating in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility after a regularly-scheduled five month deployment in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Maritime Security Operations.
