Sgt. Marlene Salazar, administrative personnel chief with Marine Wing Headquarters Squadron 2, hands Brig. Gen. Robert S. Walsh, commanding general of 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (Forward), a non-commissioned officer's sword with which to cut the birthday cake in celebration of 2nd MAW's 68th birthday. The 2nd MAW stood up in San Diego on July 10, 1941.
