A landing support U.S. Marine guides a seven-ton truck into a staging area at the Subic International Airport in the Republic of Korea, April 9. According to U.S. Marine Gunnery Sgt. Luis Orozco, 228 Marines accomplished the credible feat of moving 596 pieces of gear from the USNS Pililaau in only 15 hours. Then, the Marines documented and organized all of the gear in just three days. The gear was then staged in preparation to be used during exercise Balikatan 2015, an annual Philippines and U.S. bilateral training exercise to enhance readiness and military-to-military relations, territorial defense, humanitarian assistance and disaster response operations.
