Nelson Perez, a blocking and bracing specialist with the Fort Hood Rail Operations Center, briefs the Soldiers from the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division before they load their vehicles onto trains for transport to the National Training Center at Fort Irwin, Calif., in preparation for the brigade's upcoming training rotation. More than 1,000 pieces of equipment, from containers to wheeled and tracked vehicles, will be loaded and transported.
