150408-N-WI365-183 ATLANTIC OCEAN (April 8, 2015) -- Boatswain's Mate 1st Class Garrett Vietmeier guides an amphibious assault vehicle (AAV) attached to the 3rd Platoon Charlie Company 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion (2nd AABN) 2nd Marine Division in the upper vehicle deck during amphibious operations in the well deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1).
