As thousands of Marines arrive in Afghanistan, air conditioned tents stand ready. Tied down to protect them from strong winds and shifting sands, the tents at Camp Dwyer will serve as a haven from the scorching hot temperatures which can reach well above 100 degrees. International forces are serving here to bring security and stability to Afghanistan. Photo by: LT Dave Hecht, ISAF Public Affairs.
