150331-N-MB306-353 SAN DIEGO (March 31, 2015) Sailors assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu (LHA 5) lower and prepare the ship's colors for the last time during the decommissioning ceremony. Peleliu will be towed from San Diego to Hawaii to join the reserve fleet. The ship will be placed in an inactive reserve status and moored alongside the class's namesake USS Tarawa (LHA 1) at Pearl Harbor.
