A U.S. Marine fast-ropes out of an MV-22B Osprey on the flight deck of the USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), at sea, Feb. 18, 2015. In preparation for future exercises, the Marines practiced fast-roping and rappelling from a stationary Osprey. The Marines are with Weapons Co., Battalion Landing Team 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, and the Osprey is from Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262 (Reinforced), 31st MEU.
