    Lt. Gen. Gary North (left), 9th Air Force and U.S. Central Air Forces commander, Brig. Gen. Brian Bishop, outgoing 332nd Air Expeditionary Wing commander, and Brig. Gen. Franklin, incoming 332nd AEW commander, salute during the singing of the National Anthem at the 332nd AEW change-of-command ceremony July 4. The 332nd AEW is the most forward-deployed combat wing in Iraq. Its heritage is tied to the famous 332nd Fighter Wing Group led by the Tuskegee Airmen in World War II.
