(March 30, 2015) -- Chief Cryptologic Technician (Collection) Alexander Thomas, assigned to the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72), shuffles across an obstacle during the 2015 Goat Locker Challenge at Joint Expeditionary Base, Little Creek, Va. The event is one of many festivities commemorating the 122nd birthday of the rank of chief petty officer in the U.S. Navy. Lincoln is currently undergoing Refueling and Complex Overhaul (RCOH) at Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries.
