Georgian Soldiers and U.S. Marines, shoulder-to-shoulder, observe a moment-of-silence for those Killed In Action serving the ISAF mission in Afghanistan, March 24, Vaziani Training Area. Through the Georgian Deployment Program, U.S. Marines worked with Georgian infantry battalions to deploy to Afghanistan to support both ISAF operations, prior to 2015, and NATO’s new Resolute Support Mission.
