PACIFIC OCEAN (March 26, 2015) Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Jamie Mayle, loadmaster from Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 5, washes an amphibious assault vehicle (AAV) after it returns in a Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) in the well deck of Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2).
