Christopher Burrell, a military police dog handler with the 108th MP Company, 16th MP Brigade out of Fort Bragg, N.C., speaks with his former company commander, Elkton, Md., native, Maj. Richard Dennis, who now serves the deputy provost marshal, Multi-National Division-Baghdad, at Camp Liberty, Iraq, June 27. Burrell, who was wounded in December 2007 in Sadr City after insurgents detonnated several explosives near him, said Operation Proper Exit has given him a chance to find closure and that he looks toward the future with optimism.
