The Coast Guard Cutter Tahoma seized approximately 1,100 pounds of cocaine and apprehended three Dominican smugglers following an at-sea interdiction March 18, 2015, off the coast of Guayama, Puerto Rico. The seized contraband was estimated to have a wholesale value of approximately $16 million dollars and was transferred to Drug Enforcement Administration Special Agents in Puerto Rico for prosecution March 24, 2015.
