United States Army National Guardsman Sgt. 1st Class Jennifer Royce gets in a good stretch between workouts during training week for the 2015 Army Trials at Fort Bliss, Texas. Royce, assigned as the Chief Dental noncommissioned officer at the Medical Detachment, California Army National Guard, was previously attached to the Warrior Transition Unit, Fort Campbell, Ky., as a platoon sergeant. Approximately 90 wounded, ill, and injured Soldiers and Veterans are at Fort Bliss, Texas, to train and compete in a series of competitive athletic events including archery, cycling, shooting, sitting volleyball, swimming, track and field, and wheelchair basketball. Competition week, conducted by the Warrior Transition Command and hosted by Fort Bliss, is scheduled March 29-April 2. Army Trials helps determine who will get a spot on the Department of Defense Warrior Games 2015 Army Team in June at Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Va.
