(March 17, 2015) Chief Boatswain’s Mate Herb Kresge, assigned to U.S. Naval War College (NWC) in Newport, R.I., provides seamanship training to sea cadets, assigned to Defiant 338 Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps from Kemptville, Ontario, on the forecastle of the South Dakota-class battleship, USS Massachusetts (BB-59) in Fall River, Mass. Chief petty officers from NWC met the visiting cadets onboard Massachusetts and provided Navy familiarization, seamanship and firefighting training.
