(March 17, 2015) Chief Navy Counselor Ann Ferguson, assigned to U.S. Naval War College (NWC) in Newport, Rhode Island, provides firefighting training to sea cadets, assigned to Defiant 338 Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps from Kemptville, Ontario, in damage control central of the South Dakota-class battleship, USS Massachusetts (BB-59) in Fall River, Mass. Chief petty officers from NWC met the visiting cadets onboard Massachusetts and provided Navy familiarization, seamanship and firefighting training.
