U.S. and Turkish airmen, U.S. State Department officials at the Kirkuk Provincial Reconstruction Team, or PRT, and Turkish Red Crescent Society medical responders helped coordinate and facilitate an aeromedical evacuation for 11 victims of a June 20, suicide truck bombing in Taza District south of Kirkuk city. More than 80 people were killed and 250 injured in the blast. Airman Peebles, a St. Louis, Mo., native, is deployed here from the 31st Aeromedical Dental Squadron, 31st Fighter Wing, Aviano Air Base, Italy.
